You can permanently delete your Madealert account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what is removed.

How to delete your account

In the mobile app

Open the Madealert app and sign in.
Go to the Settings tab.
Scroll to the Delete account section and tap Delete account…
Confirm in the dialog. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

On the web

Sign in at madealert.com.
Open Settings and find the Delete account section.
Confirm the deletion.

By email

If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the address on your account and request deletion. We will verify and complete the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following:

Your account profile (email address and name)
All saved alerts and search criteria (keywords, categories, price ranges, filters)
Your found-deal matches and history
Your watchlist (saved listings)
Your notification preferences and settings
Device push-notification tokens registered to your account
Subscription records associated with your account

What we may retain, and for how long

Your account data is deleted immediately when you delete your account in-app, and within 30 days for email requests.

The only exception is billing and transaction records, which we may retain for up to 7 years where required by tax and accounting law. These records do not include payment card details — we never collect or store those (payments are handled by Apple, Google, or Lemon Squeezy).

Important: cancel your subscription separately

Deleting your Madealert account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Those subscriptions are billed by Apple / Google and must be cancelled there:

Google Play: Play Store → Subscriptions → Madealert → Cancel
App Store: Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions → Madealert → Cancel

Subscriptions purchased on the web through Lemon Squeezy are cancelled automatically when you delete your account.
